Chair of Governors since 2016.
It was the beautiful surroundings and friendly, family feel that first attracted me to Beaulieu School as a parent. My four boys all loved their time here and often reflect on the "unique memories" the gained - making the vision very personal to me. This vested interest was my reason to join the school as a parent governor in 2013. Now as Chair, I am dedicated to ensuring that the school offers the best education for all. Through this work I find it extremely rewarding to be able to draw on my previous life and work experiences which include: 15 years working in Clinical Research and Data Management; other voluntary work (Trustee at a local preschool and running a local mother and toddler group); rich, cultural experiences from living outside the UK (Belgium, USA and Thailand).
Further, the experience of being in the school environment has inspired me to return to research, and I am currently undertaking a PhD in Education at Southampton University.
