I have been a co-opted governor since December 2018 and will take on the role of finance governor from Autumn 2019.
I am Chief Executive of the Countryside Education Trust, an environmental education charity based in Beaulieu. This means I work with animals and children, and that work is never dull! I love long distance walking and my passion is literature of all types. We moved to Beaulieu from the East End of London when I was seven, and I started at Beaulieu school. It was very different from the inner city environment I was used to and I loved all the things that still make it special today; the size of the school, which means that staff really know the children, birdsong in the playground and the amazing opportunities afforded by being in the New Forest.
