Ways to help your child with Maths
The way maths is being taught has changed quite a lot over the past few years. TV presenter, teacher and parent Michael Underwood has teamed up with White Rose maths team to film a mini-series called Maths with Michael which covers a range of topics: place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and algebra (so there's something relevant to each year group). Each short video (link below) is about 5 minutes long so perfect to enjoy with a cup of tea!
Do have a look at the guides as well to find out more and see some resources that could help you explore the ideas further at home with your children.
